Objective of the Policy
The SAN Group Certification Policy’s objectives are to:
1. Communicate the general certification conditions for group administrators and their group members interested in certification based on SAN standards and policy documents.
2. Determine the scope of the SAN certificate for group administrators and their group members.
3. Establish the conditions for and consequences of the cancelling of a group administrator’s certificate.
4. Define the information a group administrator has to provide to the certification body to be covered by the group certification report.
5. Describe the rules for possible changes of the scope of the group administrator’s certificate.
