Estándar FSC criterios de elegibilidad para SLIMF (FSC-STD-01-003) (CF - MFN)
El FSC reconoce que el costo de la certificación forestal independiente, por parte de terceros, es relativamente alto para las empresas pequeñas. Además, los posibles impactos ambientales y sociales generados por las empresas pequeñas y/o manejadas con un nivel de aprovechamiento bajo son relativamente bajos. En aras de reducir el costo de la certificación de bosques pequeños y/o manejados con baja intensidad (SLIMFs), el FSC permite a las entidades de certificación el uso de procedimientos de certificación concebidos para la evaluación de estos bosques y los correspondientes informes.

Farm Certification Policy - Sustainable Agriculture Network (CA - PROD)
This document defines the objective (section 2), scope (section 3) and validity (section 4) of this policy. It refers to valid SAN standards & policy documents (section 5) and contains a glossary of definitions (section 6). Farm Certification Policy is described in the main part of this document (section 7). The annexes detail crops authorized and not authorized for Rainforest Alliance Certified™ certification.

Objective of the Policy
The SAN Group Certification Policy’s objectives are to:
1. Communicate the general certification conditions for group administrators and their group members interested in certification based on SAN standards and policy documents.
2. Determine the scope of the SAN certificate for group administrators and their group members.
3. Establish the conditions for and consequences of the cancelling of a group administrator’s certificate.
4. Define the information a group administrator has to provide to the certification body to be covered by the group certification report.
5. Describe the rules for possible changes of the scope of the group administrator’s certificate. -

Group Certification Standard - March 2011 (CA- PROD)
The objective of the standard is to encourage group administrators to create and maintain a management system that proves to SAN authorized auditors that all group members and their member farms comply with the environmental, social, labor and agronomic contents of the SAN Sustainable Agriculture Standard through a documentation system, trained personnel and group members. Group certification audits measure the group administrator’s capacity to assure member farms’ compliance with SAN standards’ certification requirements and develop annual inspections of all group members with trained internal inspectors. Additionally, SAN authorized auditors visit a representative sample of member farms to check if the group administrator’s training system, internal inspections and risk assessment lead to a sufficient level of member farms’ compliance with the SAN Sustainable Agriculture Standard and conduct SAN shadow audits to verify the knowledge of internal inspectors on the group administrator’s management system.

List of approved generic minor components derogations (FSC-PRO-40-004a) (CF - COC)
This addendum lists the generic minor components derogations which have been temporarily approved by FSC Policy and Standards Unit. Organizations that use minor components that are covered by the FSC generic derogations are not required to conduct indepth market research (cf. “FSC-PRO-40-004: Minor components derogation applications”) to justify non-availability of eligible input.

A Norma para Agricultura Sustentável (versão 2011, Rede de Agricultura Sustentável) proíbe o uso de vários agroquímicos – determinados por listas internacionais de referência - em propriedades agrícolas certificadas Rainforest Alliance Certified™. Se o uso destes agroquímicos é detectado durante auditorias em propriedades agrícolas certificadas Rainforest Alliance Certified™, isso leva ao cancelamento da certificação Rainforest Alliance Certified™ conforme a definição na Política de Certificação de Propriedades Agrícolas (versão de abril de 2009, Rede de Agricultura Sustentável).

Lista de Plaguicidas Prohibidos - Red de Agricultura Sostenible (09/2009) (CA - PROD)
La Norma para Agricultura Sostenible (versión Abril de 2009, Red de Agricultura Sostenible) prohíbe el uso de varios plaguicidas – determinados por listados internacionales de referencia - en fincas certificadas Rainforest Alliance Certified™. Si se detecta durante auditorías el uso de estos plaguicidas en fincas certificadas Rainforest Alliance Certified™, este hecho consecuentemente conlleva a la cancelación de la certificación Rainforest Alliance Certified™ según la definición en Política de Certificación de Fincas (versión Abril de 2009, Red de Agricultura Sostenible).
